it's very cool.. i cant help but thinking i'd like it more if it wasnt upside down but of course it's your work so you know what you intend with it better, perhaps, than i.. it makes it more unique, but i feel it would have worked just as well as a shot of a beautiful landscape.

thats perfectly fnie my friend, if all roads led to the same destination it would get a bit crowded at the end. that makes sense in my head honestly. Yeah i see what you mean, its got a kind of 50/50 reception this piece but for me this is the way i saw it. Its always nice to hear from you my friend and your comments are always a pleasure to read. thankyou for sharing yourself on this one with me. Really appreicated.

In terms of originality you get a perfect score. This is just brilliant.
I really love what you've done with it, the colors + composition are perfect. Great job, no two ways about it.

how much do you want paid for these wonderful comments? thats three now on the trot and i really dont know what to say....maybe i should just start paying you!! I'm happy to the core that you like my work, i really am. But taking the time out of your day to tell me, well that makes it so much more special. When i comment on other artists work i always try to give the most honest answer i can and not just a "wow" or a
your comments are very nice and definetly encouraging. I'm honoured that you took the time out of your day to send each of these great posts to my page. Thank you, mind you i really should only give you one hug incase you begin to think that i am some sort of crazy sex starved pervert but you definetly deserve another one.

thankyou very much indeed my friend. I have to say though that all i did in photoshop was flip it upsidedown and give it the white border. Its a genuine photograph just done using a small technique.
I'm not very good with photoshop i'm afraid. Just the very simple stuff i know. Thankyou my friend for your lovely words, they are really nice.

A beautiful addition to the previous piece. I think they would look quite handsome hanging up on a wall side by side. *hint hint*
My favorite thing about this piece? The unexpected pastels that resulted in the horizon line among the trees and the way the trees now look like roots pushing through the ground to some unknown space and time. Genius, Ben.

heh heh, ahhh maybe they would....i have an image in my head that i need to eventually get out... its been biting at my mind for ages now but it's a damn big set up and it would take a hellova lot of time....but if i finally get this image down to film then i would get a print account for it especially. But until then... AND WEEEE! again...such a lovely detailed comment. The more and more i look at this image i only see the face of a large planet with the vast expanse of space. Damn i wish i had a rocket. Thankyou Laura. For the favourite, the words and everything.

thats perfectly fine my friend, save it to a folder somewhere and flip it to see it the right way round.
For me it just wasn't 'alien' and different enough for me that way round, i think to see something the way we are meant to see it instantly relates to something we can understand, the minute you flip the image round to a way we don't normally see something gives it that 'alien' and strange appearance. Which is how i wanted this shot looking as it is meant to be an alien land. Who know's, maybe on an alien world we would have to walk unsidedown? Anyway i think i have babbled now... thankyou Sophia for your lovely words and your take on this. It's always a pleasure to hear from you.

haha cheers my good man, its the same technique as outland 1... it's a direct approach to the sun which hurts the eyes quite a bit. Cover the sun about halfway with your hand and 'hood' your lens. You need the sun almost directly behind the object as well and it overflares and miscolours the image. You can also take you light meter reading from a darker place and then overexpose the image but the colour doesn't change as much. Hope that helps mate.
