Description Another one from the darkroom, this one is also for my Landscapes of Scotland brief along with [link] Shot on 35mm 125 Speed Ilford FP4. Given the sepia tint with Photoshop which for some reason or another has been in my head for this shot since i first saw it. Taken at a lovely little place in Scotland called Luss, which i will be returning to soon to reshoot this on 5 x 4 format.

thankyou Daisy, great to hear your thoughts on this one. i think this is my first sepia tinited shot on here so far...its something i believe that can be easily overused. got to be the right time and place for it methinks... you know what... i just realised that i am really hungover... this hurts... BEDTIME!

thanks my man, yeah it was weird for some reason as soon as i saw the bench i went "sepia" ...don't think i have ever doen that with anything before so its a little odd. altough i am pleased with the results and i'm very glad that you are too my friend

I want to go back, i miss the scenery. When i get all the Scotland pictures up, havent made it there yet :S you will see most of them are of the scenery on the way to places

yeah London was very busy, and i think friday nights its extremely busy and we were all ready running late for our dinner reservations but we got evacuated from our bus, bus driver decided to put half a bottel of bleech in the toilet to clean it and so we had to walk to our reservations luckily we didn't lose anyone because it was so busy. I loved London too. I would love to go back to London and Scotland, you wouldn't have to ask me twice lol the only thing that would stop me is the price. It's pretty expensive to flay from Canada to Scotland, but i think when i'm older and have a job i will definately go back.

luss, eh? i think i might have sat on that bench at one point!..
i love the smoothness/softness that your processing has brought out.
it is definitely quite an emotive shot.. but i'm struggling to artilculate exactly what it is that i feel when lookin at the photo.
looking forward to see some more of around the lough/luss if you are heading back!

hmmm...soft and out together...yes it is spooky, isn't it?
I love the soft and slight glow from the sun, illuminating...
And the little sharp rocks kinda scare me...it does feel like something should be there...
Or maybe I'm just gettin paranoid from the title NEways, nice work as always Ben. I can always count on some sort of inner meaning in your pics that make me sit here and scratch my head and think: "Now why is it giving me chills up my spine?"
It's always a good thing.

Whoa this is neat!..looks kinda dreamy and *please dun be mad* but reminds me alittle of "The ring" the video scene kinda eerie/day-dreamish look alittle creepy..I don't know if I'd want to sit on that bench !

Great textures. i love the wall that you can see the top of throgh the bench, nice detail. Glad you didnt try a diff angle. Is that a big black clouding creeping in on the left hand side?

I've seen similarly composed shots, but there are elements here that make this one outstanding. I love the rocks in the background, but I really like whatever technique you used to give it an otherwordly feel. Very nicely done!
