how was this set up and lit may i ask?

no bother at all my friend, it was placed ontop of a sheet of white card which curled up behind the picture and was attached to the wall, which makes sure that no lines or edges are visible. After placing the jelly bean in the middle i worke my way out from him with two different sets of tacks, if you look closely you will see that there are thick based tacks as well as the smaller based ones. i used the thicker based ones about 4 times - in rings to make the circle seem more 'lined' if you know what i mean. It was lit from the above left, practically from right above as you can see from the jeyy beans shadow, this also gave the tacks a nice golden look. Hope that helps!

busy busy busy...got through to the interview stage for HNC so thats good...they liked my portfolio which is always nice. i'm just knackered though...plus hungover alot...i need one of those week breaks at some sort of health farm or something to sort me out. some ass biscuit healthy drill instuctor to rack my ass into gear again. but apart from that....dandy!

I see different size tacks which denotes the amount of difficult situation which can appear in front of anyone. I like the intricate setting.
