My first real try at drawing a human, and its Strider ( or Aragorn ) from Lord of the Rings. I liked this character alot.4-29-04 Update: Thank you for all your comments on my Strider pic! Some of you mentioned that it was really good for my "first" human pic, Well its true that I've drawn people before this, but I never really cared about it untill him. I took my time with drawing Strider and thats why I said "My first real try at drawing a human" Thought that needed to be a lil more clear.

This is VERY nice! I mean... if this was your 1st attempt then pat yourself on the back. its well done!
It COULD stand a bit more shading on the skin, since he looks a bit pale, but that is just me being picky. I do pencil art as well, and I can appreciate all the work that went into this!

I like the character Aragorn (not neccesarily the one who played him) and this drawing does look a lot like him. Great shading and sense of detail. The stringy hair can't go wrong, too.

wow that's awesome, mainly because the shading is so perfect. I can never make shadows look that smooth and clean when I draw with pencils! though, his eyes seem a bit off, they're not looking at the same direction. but who cares?? that god damned HAIR is BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!
