OKAY! i've promised so many people that i would make this tutorial~ because hey which cosplayer hasnt suffered from a dead wig :'D i hope this can help some of you guys!!

if you cant read the steps are here~

What you need!
1. brushes and combs~
2. silicon spray/ WD-40 silicon lubricant~ you can get it from hardware stores (i get mine from bunnings here in aus~ for around $8 a large can~)
3. a heat adjustable hair straightener~ remember! alot of hair straighteners that say low- medium - high can be dodgy because their low is VERY high temperature so be careful! i have one where the high is almost 200 celcius!

How its done!!
1. mount your wig ~ i use an old tripod ~ if you dont have a tripod you can hang it on some kind of railin
2. give your wig a good spray of silicon spray and leave it to set! make sure its all covered :L ~ setting may take awhile but when the wig isnt as oily and wet its ready to continue~
3. seperate a small section of your wig and start brushing from the bottom inch by inch~ if you get tough knots just pull it apart with your hands~ with time they should come undone~
4. once that section is done get your hair straightener and run it through your wig on lowest setting~~ (unless your wig is heat resistant and your straightener has more options~ you can just run it slowely~)
5. once that section is done just pin it aside and repeat on the rest of the wig untill perfect and tada~!

tips~
1. tough knots can always be undone with your hands~ just pull certain strands~
2. keep an eye on the heat of your straightener~
3. if you need to just spray more silicon spray onto the wig~
4. you may want to put extra focus on the tips with the hair straightener to fix the frizz~
5. this method requires ALOT of PATIENCE and TIME so dont just rage quit :'D its worth it!
