Description It seems to me that every time I buy a fur wig they don't fit and if they do fit they just won't stay on. So after pondering this for a bit I decided to try it out with a wig and it works wonderfully. I never have a problem with his wigs falling off when I pick him up

And YES I do buy the correct sized wigs! I promise!

Do wig caps not work for fur wigs? Either way, great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. ^-^

at the time I had one doll and I had to make my clothes and I only had a handful of wigs because i couldn't afford more of these. This tutorial is for those who cannot afford to buy wig caps or simply don't want to.

Thanks for looking

i've noticed it happens a lot with a lot of wig especially company wigs. a lot of my wigs there's no way i can have a hat on them without the wig having elastic because it makes everything just slide off.

i did this with the fur wig i got from Dollzone, but it still hates Zombie. think a little bit of waxing/hot glue on the elastic bands could help?

maybe or make the elastic smaller so that its tighter around the head.

I LOVE this tut! Too bad I ruined my wig yesterday trying to color it... T^T
I'd like to suggest submitting this tut to this group, I gained a lot of viewers on my wig tut just by submitting it here. [link]

Have you ever tried this with non fur wigs?

Yes. I used it on a red fiber wig. It works just as well but you have to make sure its very well sewn on. I did that by using very good thread a small needle. I made the stitching very tight and sewed it twice.

I had to do my fiber one twice because the first one didn't hold for very long.
