Here's my quickly thrown together submission for the Kakashi Fan Contest: Their First Mission.

This is my first time drawing young Kakashi (His older self has wound up gracing my notebooks in class. ) and my first time ever drawing Obito. This is also my first piece of submitted Naruto art. ^_^ Woo! I wasn't going to enter the contest, but thanks to the extension and this sudden burst of inspiration, I just had to.

Well, my drawing is pretty blah, in my opinion, but I didn't worry about that so much this time, since this was only a quick thing and it's more for the comedy than the pretty-fulness. Sorry that there's no Rin. My excuse is that she's still in the antiques shop gaping at the destruction caused by Kakashi and Obito. I had intend on adding her in, chasing after the boys and the old man, but I got lazy. -_-

I also got lazy with the background, so I fell back to my old tricks: Found a picture on my hard drive and stuck it on as a background. Actually, I was quite impressed at how well the picture fits. It actually DOES look like what I'd imagine Konoha would look like if it were a real place. In case you're curious, it's a picture of Burano, Italy. I've never been, but I've got all these pictures from my mom's trip on my hard drive.

Anyway, even if it's not the best looking piece of fanart, I hope it at least warrants a chuckle here or there.
