Those who know me best know I the 80's...which was when four brothers, Heroes in a Half-Shell, made their debut!

I'm completely down with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...ahem, at the times when cartoon or filmmakers get them right!...and they were never more right than in their original toon made by the same animators who produced Transformers and G.I. Joe! That was when intrepid Channel 6 News reporter April O'Neil was first seen as well, and no one ever made a yellow jumpsuit look better. Tough as New York City could make a girl, April was a constant companion and often support for the brothers in their adventures fighting the likes of the Shredder, Krang, Baxter Stockman and other enemies who did their supervillain thing!

This art has been in the works for a lot longer than I'd care to say, mostly because I nitpicked myself with trying to figure out what to do with April and her four pizza-lovin' friends...my apologies to the great XNALara meshmodder for that! :/ Finally I got the inspiration to do something simple but would also convey my feelings for these heroes I know a lot of you love, too! Now if only Hollywood could show them the same respect and give us better movies...!
