The last few pieces in my gallery have been fairly monotone, after a while I seriously need to use some colour - and I usually go overboard. So have some colour!
Probably my last personal piece of the year. Happy holidays everyone.
Really enjoyed working on this, done over a couple of days.

This is simply beautiful. I don't think you went overboard at all! It looks excellent.

Well lady. I like your going overboard! This piece really pulls the viewer in, it's so dynamic, with a lot of motion and really bold colours, and in the middle of all those moving, strong lines, you get this almost shy, protective movement of her hand going up to her collar area, you might think in a second she's going to cover her mouth.
The eyes look mysterious, they could even be a little scared...definitely a very interesting piece
One little thing I am unsure about though, and that's where the hair connects to her forehead...the hair seems to almost begin behind the forehead, making the face look really oval, because it isn't covered by anything at all. Now that could be on purpose, to make it pop more, but it just caught my attention and I thought I'd point it out.
