So bit of an origin story of Me + my art. One summer, I spent a couple weeks with my cousin in the big city of Dauphin Manitoba. We spent the whole time playing mortal combat, biking around and getting into trouble. At the time, he had a much more extensive comic collection than I did, and one of the coolest things about it was these Spawn trading cards- which were essentially just cards with cover art and brief descriptions of the issue and or character.

When I left for the summer, my cousin gifted me the cards! Over the next couple months/years I poured through these cards, drawing spawn characters over and over again, and I firmly blame Spawn art for getting me further into art.

Been wanting to do this piece forever- but didn't feel ready.
