Description I don't know how these people ever get any work done, they are so immature.

Maybe someday they will learn to embrace their own non-neurotypicality and stop throwing the internalized ablism all over the place but I AIN'T HOLDING MY BREATH.

Well there are transgenic pet fish currently on the market with their coloration swiped from jellyfish and coral*

So it seemed plausible

*They are illegal in California though WHY DOES CALIFORNIA HATE MAD SCIENCE?

Ah, Varus is a bit like her, then. He's a Varanus sapiens (monitor lizard). Character background is pretty interesting, though.

Wait, are her ancestors paralell-dinosaurs or related to the actual dinosaurs?

Because if you followed the latter far enough, her ancestors would have been "little lizards"

they are not ancestors, just genetic donors via the gentle art of mad science

they are actual dinosaurs, from a planet terraformed many millions of years ago and seeded with earthling wildlife

it's complicated

damn aliens
