THIS is what I mean when I tell people budgies look funny when they look at something you've dropped on the floor!
They turn their little cotton wool heads on the side and they look like they're looking at it with their EARS! (If they had any.)

XD we feed my boy grass seeds and peg them to the side of his cage, on his perch, and they always fall
He never follows them down, he just sits on his perch staring at them with his head cocked to one side until someone got him some more

I have my teils in my room and my trashcan is by them. Whenever I toss something into it their crests go up and they look all over the floor trying to figure out what happened. My budgie will watch a down feather floating around, too.

LOL That is so true! I love this piece. And if you look carefully behind some of their head feathers you can see their ears. They are so small and cute. I love everything about budgies.
