Taking rent in a motel or other strange apartment complex (it's hard to see, but there's a bathtub in the living room), our unconventional family two... well, three counting Joey Wren's ghostly twin sister Jenny... decide to celebrate with a three hour feature film movie night. Joey picked out "Lord of the Rings" because the hobbits seem like friendly fellows he can somehow relate to, yet in the process forgot longer movies have more frightening villains in order to keep the plot going. Jenny doesn't see her brother's panic as a big deal, as she reminds him it might be worse: the last time they watched a three hour film, it was "It", and the scenes with Pennywise are what made Joey afraid of clowns. Halia Akamai, however, didn't like how her boyfriend was panicking, and offered to let him sit closer to her if that eased his fears, but Joey tried to be a "man" by sticking it out a while longer before accepting her offer.
