Lardedar, I spent far too long on this and um, the background somehow seemed like it had to be simple to not take away from her.>> The result? I'm not especially pleased with the BG but I'm very much proud of her wings and hair. Anyway I hope you all like her ^^ Her design was fun and she's been sitting around as a partial idea in a sketch book since 04/05 or somewhere around in there. Not too far back I decided to throw her lines together and finish her since I've been in a drawing rut.
ANYWAY I should probably be off to bed in the next few minutes sooooo I guess that's all the explanation you get?

Isn't it best to draw like you? ^^ Find your style and push it as far as it will push! Just keep working hard and find the YOU in your art! When it comes forward you'll be amazed at what you can do if you just believe in yourself a little :3

Nice use of color yet again that leaves me an envious fangirling mess. Not many people use the concept of insect wings and when they do they tend to only go butterfly or fairy, but this almost high fantasy cyberpunk character is very pleasing and effective. I'm not even partial to green and I'm atrracted to its use in this piece!

just curious, how do you get that bit of zing to your pictures? They're always very bright and vivid. I tried painting something in PS last night and it's just kind of dead.
