Your likeness of Tennant is wonderful. I could tell who it was right off (Without help from the title, of course)
The things that catch my eye first is the fact that his cheek seems to sink in a little to far. I think it might be just because it looks like it just sinks into a round hole. I would suggest following the line of the cheekbone a little, or lightening up the deepest shadow you've got going on in there.
Also, while the anatomy of the ear is working well, It seems a bit on the small side.
Not gonna lie, though. I am jealous of your ability to do bold shadows. I tend to shy away. I'm afraid of value.

The cheek looks hollowed in an a creepy manner.
The mouth, uh, the cheek part over it, is a little weird.
The ear looks smallish and looks too far from the face.
Gorgeous otherwise.

Yeah, the reference picture I had was grainy and I ended up erasing the entire cheek and mouth two times before I got fed up with it. I hadn't noticed the thing about the ears before.
