Description
Jill Valentine is copyright to Capcom. She was originally just a sketch that I edited to look a lot better and decided to build her into a scene. I was thinking RE3 at the time... very loosely. Its suppose to be based on the pond walkway just before the path with the locked gate leading to the Dead Factory.
I've done my tough Jill pictures before, now I'm doing more Jill looking vulnerable and showing why that outfit is just too damn impractical to be fighting the undead in. (Though, heck, its memorable enough, so its a win for Capcom

You are getting better and better Cheeb
The decayed hand is really well detailed along side with Jill in most parts (mouth seems a little *of* sorry had to say it ) otherwise one of my favorite editions of Jill from you
And to tell you the truth Jill is a really tough lady so getting her to be vulnarable was really a task

Yeah, she is suffering from crazy mouth syndrome. It was one of the things that I hated about it, but the more I tried to fix it, the more it got worse. It was one of those days
I like to see Jill looking either tough and sometimes just plain damsel like. I think if its worked right she can look vulnerable without looking completely out of character.

Oh yes. But hell, I'm happy with the pose, which has inspired me to at least tackle more diffocult angles.

This is great, I like the shock on her face and the pose is great.
And I have to agree with you, her outfit may be impractical but it sure is memorable

For all the complaints out there, when you ask most gamers about Jill they usually remember her for it and what's not better then being recognised even if its not for a more practical reason?

hehe true the outfit is pretty infamous. Plus it does lend itself to "wardrobe malfunctions" more easily than her other outfits when it comes to fan art

Yup, got to enjoy the wardrobe malfunctions. But hell, its not the most unrealistic outfit to wear. Maybe she ran out of clothes because she forgot to do her laundry Though for late September/early October, she should have been wearing her sweater... But hell, we like shoulders!

Well she is dressed for fall since a lot of people here do still wear shorts or skirts in Sept/October with sweaters and boots and I'm about as far north as Raccoon City was supposedly. They might have been having a mild fall or an Indian Summer as it were at the time since many characters don't seem dressed for cold fall weather more like mild.
I think maybe the bulky sweater wasn't as good for movement while fighting the undead so it was kind of a trade off. Feeling cold but being able to fight better vs being toasty and restricting movement
Also she may have been out on the town when the outbreak finally spilled into the main streets and was caught off guard like the Outbreak games show.

I remember when I was trawlling across the web once and a guy posted up saying that he was from the mid-west and at that time of year nobody would have been dressed that skimpily in general. Though I don't count party goers because they don't seem to understand the concept of cold. I see girls out in skimpy top and skirt in freezing winter. Its insane.
I don't think her sweater was very bulky. It looked pretty flimsy to me, but the graphics back then added a couple of pounds to everything.
I dunno about her really being taken completely by surprise, but honestly, if she knew bad stuff was happening, she would have just left before the s**t hit the fan.

Oh I know, some people are insane. I see people walk in snow here in shorts and a hoodie.
Yeah Jill doesn't seem like the kind to wait until the last minute to ditch a bad situation like that. I think like most everyone in the city, she was just caught in the outbreak that spread like wildfire from Hunk's botched mission to get the sample from Birkin.

I dunno whether it all happened too quickly though - I think that was just the nail in the coffin. The virus issue with Raccoon City started much earlier - as there were people surcoming with those monsters still crawling about the mountains what was left from the Arklay facility. Sometimes I question whether it was stupidity on Jill's part, whether she thought that she could do a 'I told you so' and slap Umbrella in the face with some hard evidence definitely didn't go her way. Eiether she's too dutiful or she's not as smart as she thinks.

well yeah, it was a combo of the two incidents combined with Iron's cover up that did the whole city in. But mutated Birkin smashing all the virus vials for the cute little mice and rats to carry into the city really sped things up
And yeah, it does make you question Jill's decision making ability when she purposely stays in the city while most every other STARS member left. I also find it ironic that Brad, the one STARS member known for rabbiting at the first sign of trouble, stayed long enough to be trapped there as well. He should have gone back to Delucia to watch the flowers bloom.

Well, I guess Brad was a bit oblivious. I guess he thought lightning wouldn't strike twice and end up in the same situation.
