I used to make abstract art digitally before. It's very nice to see abstract art being portrayed in real life--through architecture. This piece truly brings out the best in abstract (or at least in the images' perspective) architecture. Wonderful work.

i don't know much about photography or actual art terminology, however i will add my unprofessional opinion lol ..
its hard not to take a beautiful shot of le louvre, after all - it's a work of art in itself. but the way you've done it has truly brought out the brilliance.
choosing not to pick a perfect center was smart. throwing in asymmetry to an symmetrical system really paid off, because you added more dimension. the colors tones are perfect. they are not overly focused on a bright beautiful blue sky (would take away from the concept IMO) and at the same time adding perfect contrast to the subject.
really a great piece.

Haha I don't know much about photography either, nor the terms associated with it, but I agree: The Louvre is so special that whatever you take from it turns out beautifully.
Bright skies make no homes for mechanical spiders. Thanks for pointing out the symmetrical paradox

Interesting shot. Is that the indide of the big pyramid or the small one? The shadows make it tricky to tell. It looks like an Escher drawing.

excuse me...which is your geometric study? there is no simmetry, no light games, no patterns....i don't understand...
thnx a lot for your answer. ^__^

The photographer didn't say anything about geometric study, so you'd have better luck getting that answer from ^opioid .
But it's there. Look for the perspective, rather than the content.

You mean why I did not follow conventional placement? I like asymmetry; not all cobwebs you find in nature are perfectly symmetrical, and neither are man-made ones.
Besides - many would pick a perfect center. I'm sure there are many with a perfect center.

i'm sorry...i'm not against your art and your personal interpretation...i'm just trying to understand DD that recently seems to come without a concrete reason..
i repeat...i'm happy for you, nothing against, just asking myself some things.... ^___^
thanx for your answer.

Where any other photographer would go for a symmetrical shot, you went for a decentralised one. Awesome! Really an interesting capture.
