Description
After being asked if I had anything like this, I realized I hadn't done one in a LONG time. This isn't the best thing out there. It's mostly explaining what I do, and how I think about it. Just take it and apply to yourself. I gave a few examples. But really, it's just through practice and breaking the anatomy down of the wolf. That's why it's mostly explanation with a few examples.Sorry for any typos! Book cover is from Wildlife Painting Basics: Wolves, Foxes and Coyotes by Jan Martin McGuire, that belongs to her. I highly recommend this book. I use mine all the time, and it is highly abused.
Everything else is by me (most sketches where based off her artist photo references in that book), so © me there. However you may use them for reference, that's what it's here for. But please don't claim it as your own or repost this in your gallery.
Thanks!

did you use this to become a better artist? Is the book more of painting or drawing?

Aha! This is going to be very useful for drawing wolves realistically, I'm better off looking at drawn images than photos because seeing how other artists apply the lines is helpful. I especially have trouble with the noses :P I don't have a dog that I can look off of for help or anything, and it can be sort of difficult to find good pictures of them like this, all close up and with detail.
Thanks for this!

No problem! Just remember, the nostril openings are comma shaped. :> That tends to help a lot.
