This is for a competition Dell is running. XD I really could use a new comp to draw on so yea. Just a random merman, loosly based on blue ringed octopuses. They have enough venom to kill 26 humans in a few minutes.

Wow, the textures and simple details are enough to make such a grate piece of art work come to life.
The water seems so realistic, and the sky's cloudy atmosphere gives it an overall soft feel.
the colours of the Merman relay contrast against each other, and i love the tattooed details of the rings, the perspective alone works well with the art. The tribal elements like the feather spear and bone necklace.
Personly, anyone to have this work on a laptop should be amazed at how much effort has gone into this, i particuly like the misty, alomst out of focuse background.
