I've decided that I'll try to finish and upload a piece of personal work inbetween each commission so I don't lose motivation for art in general since that seemed to be the problem when my list gets so long heh birthday gifts are the exception, they take priority.
Oh yeah I actually drew this a couple days ago I think? But I was too tired to upload whoooops

Onion and Bex go out to a cafe for some milkshakes, hanging out as they so very often do. And unfortunately situations like this happen more often than anyone would like. Something along the lines of:

"You two enjoying your date?" The waitress would ask.
"On no Bex is my best friend," Onion would reply happily.
Bex sinks lower into her chair where only the waitress sees her discomfort.
"Oh okay... that's a nice hoodie." The waitress would offer, trying to stir the conversation away.
"Thanks my best friend gave it to me!" Onion would reply proudly.
Bex grits her teeth.
The waitress mutters to herself a soft but emotional "Gosh damn it."

Uh heh ignore me I'm somewhat hung over lmao
But aaay sneaky Comet cameo, showing off small bits of info about characters in their day-to-day life is fun and I want to do it more often.
That and the amount of irony in this situation pleases me so. I have no idea if Comet herself can pick up on it but I couldn't pass up the opportunity
