Upon wandering into the streets of Wynisph on his ori, Tiez is intrigued by the magic classes such a small town offers. Usually they're so picky about who they let into those so he's quick to jump at the chance to learn the magic that eludes his kind.
At least the first ability is used by wynglings hatching so there's a little instinct to draw of for warming the body up. Plus the forge is really fricking hot and he's more than happy to use the facilities to craft something even without the magic practice.

... okay listen I can't draw a character of this architype working in a forge and not remove the top okay. I even added temporary pants for full effect. Muscles are fun to draw alright, sue me.
