A Veteran searches for a name on the Vietnam Wall during the Million Vet March on the Memorials on October 13, 2013 in Washington DC.

You misunderstand me, the place belongs to the veterans in the sense that they can never be closed. that's like closing a cemetery. It just doesn't happen. People should have the ability to pay their respects 24/7/365.
