did you see online some upstarts tried to do a 3d remake but the big guy shut em down, would've been neat if big N would've took over and helped finess that
who knows, maybe a follow up (good and or bad that could be...hard to follow 1st ones)

This is some seriously awesome fanart. I love the lightning effect on Crono's sword, it just seems so fitting.
If only Square-Enix would remake it with an art style like this. Chrono Trigger is my favorite game of all time.

Someone actually took it upon themselves to develop a new Chrono Trigger. Unfortunately Square Enix never gave the permission to have it released to the public even as a free game. You can look it up on youtube. The games name is Chrono Trigger Resurrection. By the way great pic!

If they remade it, they'd have to promise not to change any of the dialog or story. I'd be happy to see new graphics, or even an extended battle system, but the story would have to be the same. You just don't muck with classics like this.
