Being frozen can't be a fun experience xD Though I think being built for survival helps him a lot, it's still boring having to wait for the juice to freeze. And thank you! I figured he'd be hanging upside down while it was freezing, so stuff started drooping (i don't think his earrings would float? ANd the ponytail would have eventually gotten drenched and floated downward too, I think. I'm not positive about those physics). Yeah, I thought it might be nicer to have him in his armor this time- it would probably keep him a bit warmer, being magic. I just sort of started drawing him out naked, but I realized there'd be no way to hide the NSFW bits, so I drew his armor on to make him decent xDDDD 

I've already started writing it, hopefully I can finish it up fairly quickly. I had to write a short story for my fiction class this week, so that's been taking up a lot of my writing time. It's fun, but a bit harder than usual, because I've got so many fic ideas in my head x'D

I'd be pretty surprised if it was haha. Yeah, I'd imagine they wouldn't float. I'm pretty sure any precious metal sinks so it would make sense for them to go to do that (I'm presuming his earrings are actually silver, though it would be both pretty amusing and tragic if they turned out to be cheap hollow plastic because he lost the originals and can't afford a proper replacement). That's very considerate - I'm sure Lancer would be relieved that you drew him decent. And it does make sense that it would keep him warm, which is good. I don't know how likely it would be, but it'd be a shame for him to catch hypothermia (though, really random connection, I can imagine them watching Titanic and Lancer just knowing Gil would have shoved him off that plank even if they could both fit). 

I'm looking forward to it! And yeah, it can be tough juggling lots of different story ideas at once.

I'm pretty sure his earrings are the original (I think they're what Bazett used to summon him, but it may have been a necklace we never get to see, I know she used a piece of jewelry to summon him though). That's why I tend to have him get them back (along with his hair clasp, which I headcanon Ferdiad gave to him, so it's very important to him) after being digested. Either they come back with him because they're part of his Servant gear, or the pred spits them out because they give them indigestion (I'm actually writing a thing right now that involves Gil being considerate and spitting them back up so he can give them back to Cu later). And yeah, the hardest part about writing the popsicle thing is that leaving Cu in the freezer for a long time is honestly really cruel and would probably be considered torture >_>;; Like, realistically, he would drown before he froze. But since he's a Servant I can play with things and have him survive, but it's stil a bit hard trying to keep a more lighthearted spin on the whole thing.  And the titanic image is hilarious xD Though I would like to think Gil would pull Lancer onto the plank as well so that he wouldn't be lost at sea.

I like the Ferdiad headcanon. I keep meaning to do something with him, but it keeps getting pushed further down the list of stories. It was really nice how you incorporated that into your story - it worked really well. There's a lot of fun to be had thinking of past headcanons. I always like to imagine Cu back in his heyday, still sweet and gentle in a lot of ways but really cocky and cheeky as well. And obviously there's a lot of angst possibilities with Ferdiad and Cu, knowing how it's going to end up. But I am planning on including Scathach  (as well as Diarmuid) in a story soon. Gil having a St Patricks day feast might be cute too to include a variety of the pretty Irish men. And yeah, he probably would. In smash bros there's that item which automatically freezes the enemy, so that could be a more kind way to freeze Lancer solid. The idea of them doing a smash bro type brawl could be amusing actually - Lancer frozen and Gilgamesh's hair ruined by a bob-omb. I'd like to imagine he'd save him too - though knowing Cu he'd be adamant Gil be the one to have the plank if it couldn't support both of their weight.
