I dunno. See, there's this really cool artist, [link] who did this really cool painting, [link] so I wanted to try something similar. That, and I was already playing around with monochrome, so here's my elf Sarang.Only, he managed to capture emotion so beautifully, and mine is all kinda, blah. Mine lacks emotion and feeling and depth and... yeah-it falls flat. Ah well. Practice, practice, practice!
Two hours, corel Painter 8. Please ignore her lack of a left hand. It isn't her fault I suck :-D But everything else about her please critique!

shading is so good. i particullarly like the rather bright flecks on the nose and mouth and how you bring out the knuckles on the hands and how you seem to have such extreme detial and at the sametime shrouded areas where detial is lost yet still blends well together. i loves it! ^^

Eh. I think it needs major work, but then it could just be me. The whole detail/lack of detail was doing some incredibly detailed digital painting, smearing it all over, and repeating only parts of it. Cuz I is crazy!
