Title: Within Eyesight
Theme: Dream of Endless Flowers
A girl dreaming of endless flowers; submerging herself into them, almost invisible, but still within eyesight. The flowers reaches as far as the eye can see.
No one can deny that flowers are pretty. I've always dreamt of to walk into one of these colorful flower fields, and just lie down for a while - forgetting that time exist and forgetting your responsibilities.

GUYS. IM DONE. FINALLY
and look A BACKGROUND. this is my first proper background attempt-- and i don't want to sound cocky, but i'm actually proud! i really tried to create that kind of depth, and i'm not sure if i succeeded
it took me about 12+ hours
and the grass and the flowers took forever-- you can see it in the speedpaint, i'm like constantly changing it
i'm really excited for this project, so i couldn't help but join in on the contest and ofc i'm doing it last minute.....
the artbook raises funds for the Dreams Come True Charity!
i had a lot of ideas for this project, but when i finally opened sai, and had to start-- i just stared at the blank page for god knows how long
oh an the frame around the drawing is just the bleed margin, so yeah
it's really late, so i'll write more later--- bye bye
but please tell me what you think about this! it's appreciated as always♥

the background while being superb *^* i think that fading fog should be so thick? i think you couldve drawn more little flowers as it gets further and yeah just not so thick..
i think hoshi's doubts isn't false, i know you are making her look up and youve done it nicely too! maybe just, put a little more shadow?
another thing is that maybe you could show more of her hands! It looks kinda weird to me like how is she holding it?? drawing her holding a stalk would be a lil cooler bcuz hands

And the shoulders curvier btw i dunno how describe mistakes sometimes asdfghj gomen But I've tried redlining it..*failed epicly coughs* but those are the stuff I noticed. ^^

youre right about her body-- i always tend to make the head super big ugh
about the neck; i tried to make it look like, that the 'camera' is slightly above her, and she's looking upward, you know like perspective and shiz, so her neck isnt that long
i tried but failed on that part
i rly dont know much about anatomy so i just kinda went with what i thought looked right, and then looked at myself in my mirror to reference
thats my approach with everything aaagh
i dont want to change it now tho-- but now i know it for the next time! ;;///w//;;

hmm not my first background, but i would say the first like 'real' background, and the first i've put a lot of effort in. i've done some with only skies in the background if you look through my old deviations, but thats just some colors mixed together
