Description
A scene from the game Devil May Cry 2. I am a fan of comics...and I hope that I have a little nack for them. So I`m always doodling things in a semi comic/frame style. Just an excuse to have more of a dynamic take than a straight forward pic of the scene...but then again I don`t think that would have worked.The line for for this is actually very rough, but the colouring and touch ups seemed to have covered it up. I actually like rougher linework.

Say, did you put this up on a Paint BBS board? I've sware I saw it on Snake Heart's BBS board. But I love this picture, that was one of the best....even cutest part on DMC2.

Wolfina's so cool, and it's nice to see her getting the recognition she deserves. I was in a book shop in Tokyo last year and saw a novel for Biohazard (Res Evil), and was like...hey isn't that Wolfina's art on it. Sure enough it was. Damn her!

The panles here are cool too, but something that you should try sometime (if you hadn't did that yet) is to do a comic sceen like a fight, or a violent dialog, and then do the panles violent looking too, not only cubecul.

I see, well, being good in stuff like that happens only if you do it alot, and I guess a new, um, jolt of new coolness that freaks you out (in the good way) really does help. The Takken 5 thing came in time to do some new coolness.

Yeah I know the panels need to be more dynamic.... Fighting scenes are a thing that I kinda lack experience with. Actually I lie, I've did a huge chunk of a Tekken comic years ago (like 5 or 6), and more recently did a arch for a X-Men comic that me and my sis were writting. That exposure to X-men, action and muscles actually made me so much better, then I went to Japan and it all died.
Tekken 5 just rekindled my love for Tekken....and as it always goes, I'm drawing a new short comic. Trying to fit the action in it!

I haven't played the game yet (I don't own a PS2) But I collect the comic- this is gorgeous!! You painted this? OMG- you have so much paitence... I couldn't stand working so long on a painting for such a long comic... I'd want to draw something different

never played DMC2, and wasnt so happy with the first one.. But the Pic is cool. Dante looks very tough here.. it really reminds me more of a us Cmic Style. Good work there
