This picture, I feel to date is the best LoK fanart I have ever produced. It came about during the time when I was becoming far more comfortable with action poses, and working with Painter. It is in fact the front cover for my short comic Fatal Ending which depicts my take on the events that would have ended SR1, if the game had taken that turn. Hence why Kain and Raziel are fighting each other. I love the imagery of them locked in combat, each holding the other`s incarnation of the Soul Reaver just at bay...The style for the line work of this peice was heavily influenced by MARVEL artist Salvador Larocca, who`s work and style I really admire. This linework was never inked, being drawn and shaded intierly in pencil.

Looks great. I love the colours as well. My only concerns are the fact that Raziel seems to have more of a stomach in this then he actually has, and Kain looks a bit odd from the waist down. Otherwise though I really do like it and think it looks fantastic.

I love your lok-fanarts and this is the best of all, I like the action pose very much this gives the picture a great atmosphere, full of tension and the will not to let the other win. Your skills with painter are amazing I never got that level in digital painting. Keep up your wonderful work

This is a seriously rocking piece of art and you've done some of best work here to be sure (along with the back cover). The digital colouring is simply amazing and makes me very jealous. I hope one day to be this talented with digital colouring. Spectacular work on the lighting especially. On crit I would make (and this you've heard before, I know) is that Kain has a woman's butt.

I tried once but both Raziel and Kain are not in my way of drawing.. maybe im too lousy an Artist ( aritst haha ) to draw them ^^Β° but you really did a great Job with it. the only thing i dont like so much is razielΒ΄s um.. sixpack? I havent looked on your ID so i dont know if your a girl but.. kains Ass and then raziels body.. ahem ^^Β° Especially since raziel doesnt have much more then a Spine to hold his legs and the upper body together.. But still its really great! the coloring must have taken u some time..
