This is a relatively old picture of Nightcrawler...found it recently and again realised how kick ass it was!I remember it being in the dead of night (I'm at my most creative at about 2-4am), and this image popped into my head. I sketched it in about half and hour...
To this date it's one of those only pictures that came out exactly as I invisioned it in my head. I love the dynamic angle of his body, but the fluidity in it as well.
I decided to colour it in with inks rather than watercolours (which I was using alot at the time) because they had an array of much more vivid tones. There u have it! Nightcrawler bamf-ing (and showing off the ass as I am sure many of u will comment on - or not)

It's just looks so fleshy and alsome...

Wow. Nightcrawler is my favorite superhero, and I have been searching through pages of him on here for about 45 minutes now...and I came to this. This looks like it came STRAIGHT out of a comic book- you have the marvel line of action down to a science; presenting Herr Wagner in a very dynamic and unique pose, as well as keeping a very fluid composition, as you mentioned. I also dig the fact that you're pink BAMF! reminds me of cotton candy- I always imagine Nightcrawler's bamf to have more substance to it than just some mist.....I think you've done a great job of creating a CLOUD, which is very important with this character.
Needless to say, GREAT work....i will be favoriting this immediately!

Well, what can i say other than that this is a rocking picture fo Nightcrawler... It's the pose we all imagine when we think of drawing him, yet never get down to doing... This is the quintessential Nightcrawler pose, so full of movement and grace. You did excellently with this one. Super stuff.
