Okay, this has been in my inbox for some time, waiting to get a critique and stuff... and now, the time has come!

Anyhoo, here we go and stuff;

What I really, really like about this picture is the colouring style, for some reason. Not that the rest would be bad, of course. .w. But the more I look at the piccy, the more I feel like being on the place, feeling the warmth and wind, hell yeah~ <3 I think it's because you chose so natural colours, good job. c:
I like how you've dealt with the details; more details in the foregroud, less in the background.
However, I've noticed some shading mistakes; if I'm not mistaken, the Sun is setting in the picture, and that means the light source is in the region of the yellow area of the sky - to the left from Therru. You did the shading right (as in, correctly, not in directions xD) on the grass, but on Therru, she should be a little darker on the (her) left. You did it right with the hair, but not with her face and most of her dress.

Moving onto Therru herself, I can't spot any anatomical mistakes except that maybe the curve at her eye should be a bit bigger and more narrow (does this even make sense? Kinda hard to describe... owo;; ), because it makes her forehead look a tad big. Other than that, her left iris isn't perfectly oval, but I don't think it matters much. Just thought I'd point it out. owo
Also, you did a good job on giving the picture this sense of wind, visible on Therru's hair and the grass.

So yeah, I think I said all that was needed to be said about the piccy. Despite that it's relatively simple compared to other pictures with incedibly detailed... um, details, I just can't get over of the awesome colouring. I can totally imagine myself being there and enjoying the fresh air and the view and jadshflkdakjf. I heaps love this picture. <3

I liked this anime.

It was creepy, but was still in the "ghibli" style of storytelling (kind of reminded me of Nausicaa actually, except darker).

Can't wait to see this on dvd
