My wrist hurts ALOT lmfaoooo
Okay, sorry this took so long but the background was insane, considering i've never painted something so detailed and bgs aren't my strong point at all
But i tried my very very best, and learned alot. Hurt my wrist, but i learned alot 
So yeah, best movie in the whole wide world- Hayao Miyazaki's "Castle in the Sky." My childhood memories lie in this film
Its something very dear to my heart and this is the closest i've ever been to doing it justice, not there yet, but working on it

Time for another critique!
Well, I'm gonna start with that I have no idea about the original movie, so I don't know how accurate you were with the characters and background. .w.;
Although, the background is apparently copied straight from that reference, I've still gotta say that you're heaps good with all those details and stuff! You were really accurate and stuff. c:
However, the shading brings me to the first negative part of this critique; the light sources.
I think it was a mistake to copy the shading from the reference picture, because the light source there is different from the light source on the two characters and the... um, thing they're in. xD;
You see, the source on the characters is in front of them, and the source on the floating island is behind them. That means that either the island should be darker in the front (if the light source would be the same as on the characters), or the characters would be darker in the front (if the source would be the same as on the island).
However, disregarding the multiple-light-sources issue, you did a pretty good job with it, especially on the hair, but both the guy's and girl's shirts look more like dirty rather than shadowed. But then again, I think it was quite hard and stuff to choose the right colours. xD;
Regarding the characters;
The girl's apparently positioned a bit too high, comparing to the assumed height of her body and depth of that... thing. I don't know what it is, feel free to shoot me. xD;;
Also, her head is turned too much to (her) left, same goes for the guy. I personally would find it kind of uncomfortable to look at the viewer with my head turned at that angle. owo;
But I've gotta say they both are looking in the same direction, so good job with that! And I like that shine in their eyes, too. .w.
I've also noticed that the girl's arm is too thin compared to the guy's arms. I know girls' arms are typically thinner than guys' arms, but it is just a little bit too thin, especially compared to the rest of her body. And the lower part of that arm seems to be shorter than the upper part, which shouldn't be. o3o;
Though I have also something positive to say; I really like your style, and both characters look cute and stuff. .w.
I guess that'd be everything for now. I hope you find my critique useful and that I wasn't too harsh and stuff. .w.
