Throwback Thursday much~? We return to the same setting as this oldie , but with a few twists. Stealth instead of Loud, no tac gear, and the Minigun's design has been revamped yet again. Had I done a daytime shot instead of a nighttime one, the details on the Minigun would be more evident, so instead I'll explain my train of thought for this one.

This incarnation of the M134P Minigun is based on maintaining parts commonality with your standard, run-of-the-mill M134 Minigun. Studying the M134's design over the years told me a man-portable one could easily be configured to left-handed use if the gun were rotated along its barrel cluster's length such that the feeder/delinker's ports face downwards. That way the gun feeds from the bottom, delinked links are expelled from the bottom, and empty cartridges are ejected out to the left. That would serve as the basis of the current revision of the M134P with the other parts--namely the Y-Frame, Chainsaw Trigger Group, and M60 forearm (w/M203 Launcher; Not sure if I want to keep the M203 from here on in)--being refitted around the new design.

The Minigun revision isn't complete though. I originally planned to mount a ring sight on top a la the M60D but that's likely going to be shelved in favor of a side-mounted optic. Said optic would be used in conjunction with a secondary spade grip but I'm not sure if I want the spade grip to be something that can be used by swapping out the chainsaw trigger grip for it or if I want to integrate an underhammer trigger into the chainsaw trigger grip's design. Will have to think hard on this one.
