Happy Birthday ~gamecubemelee !A good friend of mine, GameCubeMelee, celebrated his 19th birthday last week, and while this is late, he knows that part of the reason for that is that he was being a critic and finding problems with it every time I sent it to him.
I kid, I kid. He knows I appreciate both his and Takai's efforts to pinpoint the flaws in my pictures, because otherwise, I seriously wouldn't notice them. Too often I find out about a problem after I upload the picture.
He requested me to finish one of my old pictures, specifically: [link] Frankly, I'm surprised at how well this turned out, considering how old the lineart is.
So there were some modifications. The laying on the couch doing nothing (except growing) picture became a falling asleep on the couch when we should be cleaning up for his party picture. Good times.
Anyhow, this took far longer than it should have. And it's nobody's fault- I just need to perfect this coloring method, and learn to move faster! o_o
I hope everyone likes it, and gives GameCubeMelee some more cake. Because apparently, he doesn't have enough.
P.S. - He's bringing a cake to his own birthday party. Why? Because we're poor.

Probably about 10' or 11', which is pretty small for her now... But at the time I think her "default" height was a bit less extreme than it is now.

Takai is a very special girl - and I wouldn't be able to do all this without her. As for how good... I'm not good yet. >_< I can pull it off, but it takes me days. I'll consider myself good when I can do the same thing in a night's work. I would be ecstatic if I could actually color something in less than 12 hours.

Dude, your good, just not fast. Masashi Kitsimoto, Tite Kubo, and Ken Akumatsu all make a living off there art, and there art quality is vastly inferior to yours. (Trust me, I know this.)

They can make a living off of their creativity though! They create worlds, that's far superior to my little niche here. ^_^ Someday I'll hopefully be able to say otherwise... But right now, I have some work to do.

Look, if you wanted to go in on something together, I could handle world building and mechanics and such. Just a suggestion.
And I've seen other artist to such with way less creativity and world building on art at about your current quality level.

We aren't necessarily RL friends- but Takai and him are really good friends, and talk online a lot. I talk to him a lot too, relatively speaking. I'm more the quiet one. ^_^

'Quiet', you? Umm... there are a lot of words that describe you but quiet is definitely not one of them. You're like a boom box here on DA and in your conversations. That's what I like about you is that, like me, you're not afraid to be outgoing and show what you enjoy to everyone else around the world. That, I think, is what makes you loud, not quiet. PG

On dA I like to chat it up- but when it comes to MSN, I usually don't message people. They message me though, so I talk to them- it's just usually I'm content to draw or browse the internet or whatever it is I'm doing. I'm glad they do message me though- otherwise I would fall out of contact like I did last year. A few of my best friends I didn't talk to for over a month.

I know that feeling. I was in close contact with some of my best friends and the end of the school year but no one called me for most of the summer, literally until it was a week till school started. It's funny how a simple slip of mind can make a person feel so... 'lonely' be the word? 
Any who, I'm glad to have a friend like you who can open up to people and tell them who you are instead of some people who give you one or two lines and keep to themselves. That's what more people in the world need to be like: Proud of who they are instead of what they can be.
Here's also another one of my random questions: If you could have any type of superpower, what would you want to have? For me, it would be instant regeneration like Wolverine. How about you? PG

Well, besides size-changing powers, (because yes, I am totally obsessed with the whole big and little concept), I would probably have to choose telekinesis. The ability to pick up a chair and throw it across the room with your brain is pretty badass. I played a Mage campaign with some RL friends, and my character was a telekinesis user and a portal mage- I had a lot of fun tossing enemies into their buddies.
