Description Set 3, featuring the Shu characters of Guan Ping, Pang Tong, Wei Yan and Zhao Yun.

Guan Ping is a badger. Fearless, strong and more than worthy of the Guan name.

Pang Tong is a mole. Not too keen on combat, he's laid back and would rather come up with some dubious strategies than handle a situation head on.

Wei Yan is a shrew. Fierce fighters that don't know how to back down from a fight, and are known for their rebellious nature and foul attitudes, though their hearts are in the right place.

And, last but not least, Zhao Yun is a mouse. They're deemed the default heroes of the Redwall universe, as they are brave, strong willed and will always do what is right. If that doesn't fit Zhao Yun, I don't know what will.

Individual pictures and more detailed descriptions to be posted later. Wei Yan is freakin' ADORABLE.

I would have seen Wei Yan as a Mongoose or ferret...but I think you already used that. @_@ Shrew eh? Never would have thought of them as don't know how to back down from a fight. o-o

Well, Shu is considered the "good guys" in ROTK, so I've decided to make them all good beasts. Consisting of mice, badgers, hares, squirrels, shrews, hedgehogs, voles and moles. While a ferret would have been appropriate as well (I don't recall there ever being mongoose in Redwall, though if there was, badass), I just felt that him being the only vermin in Shu would have stood out.

I'll actually explain more when I post his individual piece as to why I chose a shrew, but every shrew I've read about were rootin' tootin' fighters and borderlined bloodthirsty and hardly ever backed down from a confrontation. But given his current stance and how he's deemed a 'traitor' at the end, there was also a shrew that went rogue in Redwall (one of his more recent ones, Tugga Bruster, in "Doomwyte".)

Also, there's no way I can do one of each animal... there aren't enough animals in Redwall! XD

That makes sense. I'd figured Wei Yan was good at routing snakes (He did kill Zhang He Who was a Traitor to Yuan Shu).

I like his look though. I just...never thought about a Shrew before like that. xD

:3 BTW I miss talking to you. (CREEPY MOMENT)

Been an on/off chat buddy from Gaia for a LONG time now. xD
