This requires a disclaimer and an explanation. Upon finishing my colored version of "Want me to mess em up" piece, I received a comment pointing out that Knock Out just wasn't the same without the black portions of his eyes. And I can agree, as that's one of my favorite features of KO, along with his face, and the yellow stripes on his inner shoulder. However, I had taken some artistic license and opted to make him more human accurate than show accurate, but that doesn't negate the comment in any fashion and I appreciate the time everyone takes to make a comment on my works.However, when I had read the comment, this was the first thing that came to my mind, even though I knew EXACTLY what the person was getting at, and, well... just had to make a funny with it. Breakdown doesn't seem to understand what Knock Out meant when he said "black eyes"... and Knock Out will pay for it.
Sorry the quality of it sucks... I have no real intention of doing any hard color coloring, and I just wanted to differentiate the background, the word bubbles, and the characters.
Anyways, no hard feelings on the comments; just wanted to share a laugh or two.

Well, people can technically get black eyes. This is kind of underground, but there are a few tatoo artists who can tatoo directly in the eye. The clients who get the eye tatoos go for a splotch of color, a simple design, or completely recolor their eye.

The implication is that Breakdown is going to punch Knockout in the face--leaving him with the human injury of a "black eye." So the white part of the eye is not literally turned to black as in the show.
So basically, KO's scared because he's about to get one of those meaty fists to his beloved face.

Funny part? Daran Norris is the voice of the evil part of Manah when she speaks. HI-LARI-OUS.

I'm not much of a gamer, so I didn't really understand the joke (yeah, I fail), but I did recognize Daran Norris. And even though I've never played the game, I just may have to start telling people I love them with a love that crushes like a mace, lol.

The joke, really, is just the fact that the character says "Love that crushes like a mace"... seconds before a giant rock golem smashes her with his fist... like a mace. That's it, I think.
That, and Daran Norris plays the role of a 6 year old girl, possessed by alien gods, and she spins around and sings. Daran Norris, in the most dead pan voice you'll ever here, singing. The fact that he was able to read his lines with a straight face in this shitstain of a game is amazing.
Drakengard... it's a terrible game, but I watched a Let's Play just to hear Daran Norris. My love for that man as VA saves a LOT of bad shows and games.
