I never expected this. Well, I knew, WHATEVER you were going to make, that it would be great and I would break the Fav button. But this... just nothing but for an hour. I'm just beyond words.
Arnold looks SOOOOO much like a Christmas elf, I can't help but think of him being anything other than that. Oh, and "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" XD Except it would be "Arnold the Elf, what's your favorite color?" And FINALLY!! SOMEONE GIVES THE KID A SMALL CHRISTMAS HAT!!! 'Nuff said.
I LOVE Helga's face. It looks like she wants to smash Brainy's face in, but because Arnold's there and the infectious Christmas spirit all around her, she just is freaked out for the most part. I bet I have a guess or two where that ornament might go now. Her different color dress looks great to contrast Arnold's. And the face that she's a CANDY CANE too! Red dress with a white shirt! And this year she got the new set of Nancy Spumoni Snow Boots too. Gotta stay in style I guess. I'm glad you kept the bow, it's quite iconic to her.
I love cartoon logic because Brainy has the best way to hide in a present that would be too big for a toddler. Maybe he's a contortionist. Hmm... And his smile is probably EXACTLY how I would've. Only, my thought process would've been, "Oh, this is going to hurt. Whatever happens, I'm going to need another set of glasses... again." Oh, creepy, stalker Brainy. That's why we love him.
The scene is just perfect to me. The tree is set up, Arnold placing the star on top, Helga finishing the decorations, Brainy peeking (and falling) into the presents. I feel unworthy of such an amazing card.
I don't honestly know how to thank you for this. It's just perfect. I'll probably make a folder just for it, in a plaque of honor in my favorites. So hopefully, I can just say this.
