I don't believe anyone considered that the Mobians of Sonic's world might speak a completely different language that English...
Now mind you, I'm not the best with phonics and am currently not studying language development (Though I will be taking Latin next year), so a few of the vowels may not pair well, as this is merely me trying to do my best developing a language for my interpretation of Sonic. Let's just put it as this: Mobius was a happy little planet in another galexy, and then Humans come along from their destroyed planet and eventually end up screwing over the enviorment...Of course, it takes decades for that to happen, when Dr. Robotnik finally takes over.
I'm still deveopling the story, so when I do upload histories of the Humans and the Planet Mobius, please stop by and lend a handful of advice! It would help me a lot.
Also, does anyone know how to make a custom alphabet, where you don't have to individualy write every letter? I can still manage without it, though it would make things easier.Expect a few character sheets and design sheets in the future!

I would imagine that mobian language is the mobian's first said language and english is their second language after being learned by human.

Wonderful! I am hugely into both linguistics as well as the Sonic franchise. This was some like what I was looking for. I thought I would probably be the only one to think of this! I have been working on one. I am still laying out lots of grammar rules and such. It is getting really complex... I was using the sentence "I am able to jump and read a book that can eat and dance." as an example sentence to play around with the verbs and I came up with this as a direct translation. "Jump read I can able book eat dance." Quite different... I hope you expand upon this project and maybe tell more about the language! I like yours! I should probably mention that I excessively love worldbuilding and have thought that the Sonicverse probably would use a different language- though that came more from worldbuilding, thinking of the echidnas as being sort of like the Romans are to our history, with the modern language being a distant descendent of theirs, in our case Latin to English.
That said, this is amazing.

hey ive made up my own language for sonic too!(though its really a language for an ancient trribal community of hedgehog not for like the main lannguage of the world though i have made sonic a decendant of the tibe and able to speak the language) i may or may not be posting it though( it still in the process of being fully developed)
