Description
So after a bit of thinking/experimenting, I think I've come up with a viable mix that combines both the sinisterness of Robotnik and the slight insanity/aloofness of Eggman. I hope you all enjoy!Just a pointer on Robotnik's conquest-The main aspect Robotnik desired to do is industialize- not roboticize- the Planet Mobius. While pollution and a broken planet are side effects of his conquest, Robotnik's main desire is to have people praise him and to have any inferior lot (mainly Mobians) cast away, while his loyal subject prospered.

So much evil, so little time. The egotistical, power hungry Doctor Ivo Robotnik is a mad scientist not to be trifled with...but perhaps, was it possible that even a rotten soul had a tinge of goodness? Shockingly, yes.
Youth
Born in the family of southern chicken farmers on September 28, 2083, Julius Ivo Kintobor was subject to the ways of his parents' critical (though a bit racist) values. In many points of his early youth, Julius' father compared the living to the growth of a chicken egg- only the strongest survive, and the weak minded and inferior must be left to rot. His parents also brought other lessons of following in their footsteps, though Julius was not exactly the traditionalist of his family values, and longed to follow the footsteps of his grandfather- Professor Gerald Kintobor. His parents would often catch their son working with whatever scrap metal he could find in their fields, trying to make bits of machinery that clearly surpassed what a youngling would be able to complete. While they did scold him, Julius' parents hid a slight feeling of amusement at their son's intelligence.
During the sixth year of his life, the Third World War began to take toll on his country, and Julius' grandfather offered his family to join others he had recruited to evacuate their planet upon the Space Colony A.R.K., as the warring nations were set on nuking Earth to oblivion. Denying that such a calamity would ever happen, Julius' parents refused, but their son desired to join his grandfather, eager to learn whatever knowledge he might have before him. A few days after departure with the other Escapees, many of Gerald's co-workers confirmed that their planet had turned into a radioactive wasteland, and would forever stay that way for millions of years. From that day on, Julius never though more of his parents that the lessons he was taught.
In the six years spent on A.R.K., Julius spent many hours in his grandfathers' laboratory, not bothering to socialize with the other children. Still happy to have his grandson around, Gerald was eager to educate Julius in, perhaps one day, being the same revolutionary scientist that he was. Gerald tutored his grandson in many depths of the scientific world- Biology, Physics, Earth Science, Chemistry, and the like. However, just as he enjoyed working with the scrap metal in his younger years, Julius grew fond of Robotics, his mind overjoyed to work with cogs and machinery, to make the lifeless come to life.
This, of course, certainly didn't keep the young Julius from getting an ego. He often bragged to the other children about his vast intelligence, poking fun at how others his age were barely getting into the ideas of scientific method. He was quite the, 'spoiled brat', but at the time he wanted to use his machinery to advance the strong of the human race, and lead them to the glory that was lost with the fall of Earth.
On May 1, 2095, Space Colony A.R.K. descended upon an unknown planet in what was believed to the Cancri A system, home to four other planets. Upon exiting their worn space ship, the Escapees were greeted by the vast, bright green fauna that enveloped them. Of course, then the wary Mobians, suspicous of this foreign, inorganice material that charred their fields, appeared before the humans, unsure of their intents. Julius was disgusted at the sight of these 'walking beasts' as he called them, and so began his hatred of the Mobian race.
Adulthood
Julius spent much of his teen years in the Badlands with many of the humans, distasteful of how the Mobians gave his race such rotten, infertile land. While many of the humans were gateful for not being cast off Mobius to begin with, Julius saw this act as a means of the Mobians being greedy pigs, hogging all of the good land for themselves. How come, given the fact this planet was almost twice the circumference of Earth, were these rats unable to even share a bit of good land with his people? This desire, thankfully, was granted by the Mobians ten years after the Escapees' arrival to Mobius, and were granted land south of the Hill Top Zone, the island later to be named Solleana. For a while, the hatred Julius felt for the Mobians receded, and instead the budding Kintobor focused on his academics in Robotics and Enviormental efforts that would have humanity rely on a clean source of energy. Upon his 9th year in his efforts at age 34, Julius took over his grandfather's title of Grand Professor of the Court. From there, he began to study in a source of power only heeded as a myth to even the Mobians- the Chaos Emeralds.
After three years of research, his efforts came to fruition- Julius and his team of scientists were able to uncover a Chaos Emerald hidden in an extinct volcano's bowels in the Hill Top Zone. Eager to tap into the Emerald's power, the Professor set up a series of experiments on the Emerald-unknowing of the fury he was about to unleash.
On the eve of December 30, 2117, an unattended wire let loose a spark that sent shock waves of energy in the caverns of the Royal Kintobor Lab, a few miles away from Solleana. The Emerald let forth a massive explosion that killed all of the scientists in the building and presumably Julius Kintobor as well. However, when soldiers went to attend to the mess, they found a very much alive Julius, horrifically swollen from the explosion. The men found this discovery a miracle, but little did they know the Professor's survival was all due to an ability known as Chaos Regeneration. While it did spare Julius a horrible death, it also took a huge toll on his body...and mind.
While most of his body simply swelled in a perminant, bloated state, Julius still had to have his ears and all the appendages on the right side of his body amputated with bionic replacements. The entire whites of his eyes also dissappeared into a ebony black, the only remenants of his iris and pupils being a uniform, glowing red. His head took the form of a cone, and his eyes began to reflect the shape that of a Mobian. All of these changes infuriated Julius, and blamed the Mobians as the prime suspects of this catastrophe. Seeking a way to mend his body to the way it originally was, Kintobor secretly continued to tap into the powers of the Emerald that originally cursed him, only to gain the opposite effect. Slowly by slowly, the madness of the Emerald began to take a toll on Kintobor's sanity, eventually wanted to take revenge upon all those that did not support him...even his own people.
Julius eventually began to council Duke Gabriel, ruler of Solleana, and his other nobles into lies upon the Mobian people. He blamed actions such as the disappearance of crops and even the death of the late Duchess on the creatures he despised so much. While successful in many aspect, he could not sway the mind of the young Princess Elise, bold heir to the Solleana throne. This did not infuriate him at first however, as he had been slowly been building a robotic army that would overthrow the Kingdom of Solleana, subjecting many of its people to bow to the will of the now named Mastermind- Doctor Ivo Robotnik.
Growth and Climax of Power
Now with the entire human race in his hands, Robotnik began setting many of the people in his robot factories, to assemble many more creations to dominate the world. He continued to use the one Chaos Emerald he has to increase his intelligence, enabling him to create plans for more diabolical creations. The Mobians, at the time, were not knowing of the growing assault, and many Zones were caught off guard as Robotnik's metal fleets swept across the landscape, using the Mobians' own Star Posts to travel around Mobius in with great speed.
Within four years of conquest, the entire entity of Mobius was within Robotnik's grasp. Now, only one small piece of land stood in his way from an entire world praising him as their glorious ruler- South Island, in the Green Hill Zone. Being arrogant, Robotnik sent a small fleet of Badniks to the area, certain that only such a tiny fleet would be more than enough to crush the last remnants of Mobian rebellion. Of course, this was the first of many fatal mistakes he would make for the next five years of his conquest- he did not expect the birth of a new hero would be had on this day.
The noble, lightning fast Sonic the Hedgehog.
Present
To cope with the stress of this new furry menace, Robotnik began to feed more and more of the one Chaos Emerald he had. Of course, Sonic would eventually grab a hold of this emerald, along with the other six, to foil the Doctor's plans and send his retreating to his industrial haven of Robotropolis. Again and again, however, Robotnik seeked the Emerald he once had in an almost addictive manner, dependent on its power to, as he put it, 'stay stable'.
However, just like restoring his body, this only had an opposite effect. His mind became more feral and open spaced, eventually falling to projects that reflected the lessons he was taught long ago-examples including the Death Egg, and Egg Hornet, and the Egg Walker. The rebellious Sonic takes advantage of this, however, dubbing who he'd usually call, "Robuttnik", into a more childish, insulting name..."Eggman". Of course, the young hedgehog knew that such a name would begin to degrade the fear that Robotnik instilled, infuriating him more that whenever his plans were foiled.
However, at some point of another, the Doctor is going to be pushed to a breaking point...and no once, not even Sonic, could be prepared for his next unveiling...
