Description

Everyone who was in on the Count Bump case as they called it were all literally living at Miss Scary’s house. Which meant Nosy, Small, Curious, and Whoops where her house guests for the time being…at least until they could figure out how to cure a vampire. After the attack at Mr. Bump’s house, the red miss kept a wall of images of all the characters living in DillyDale, in hopes of keeping a check list of who was attacked. So far a few were marked off….

Miss Calamity, Miss Helpful, Mr. Strong, Mr. Happy, Miss Sunshine, Miss Giggles, Mr. Tall, and well of course Mr. Bump all had red Xs on them. It was kind of easy to tell who had been taken under the blue man’s spell. The group kept a strict look out of who had shadows and who had not, along with using compact mirrors and cell phone cameras to see about reflections.

“Sigh…this is terrible…I feel like I can’t trust anyone anymore here in DillyDale…minus you guys of course.” Miss Scary sighed out as she looked over the wall. “Yeah…it’s terrible…but I thank god we have you Miss Scary…and once again thank you for letting us stay…we at least feel safe at your house.” Mr. Nosy explained. “No problem…least I could do for saving me…plus I need as many people here with me…I can’t do this alone…” Miss Scary said as she eyed Miss Naughty’s image. “What’s wrong?” Miss Curious asked, easily picking up on her friend’s sadness. “Sigh…I’m worried my best friend has been taken…I haven’t seen or gotten hold of her in at least a week…” Scary said as she pulled the image down. “I have a feeling Bump is keeping the little misses he has bitten somewhere…a place to keep his so called “brides” together…” Scary said as she decided to cross off her friend’s image. Whoops suddenly gave the red miss a hug, feeling terrible for what her little brother has caused. “It’s fine Miss Whoops, it’s not your fault at all…” was all what the red miss could say as she looked over the wall again eyeing another character she held dear.

Quickly Miss Scary headed for her home phone and dialed a certain number. Everyone was silent as Miss Scary talked away to a certain blue mister. “Sigh…okay FINE I’ll meet you at your house...right now…it’s important…” was said before hanging up. The red miss grabbed her jacket, a canteen of holy water and placed a rosary around her neck. “I’m heading to Mr. Grumpy’s house to hopefully make him believe this situation…and have him stay here…I need to get as many people over here to keep safe as possible, and I want you guys to STAY HERE! Understand? If I don’t come back in half an hour come find me…” Miss Scary explained. She had to fight through her friends begging her, but she slammed the door behind her, walking down the wood’s path of wooden crosses she and the others have surrounded her property in.

Sadly it was a cool, cloudy day, so seeing shadows or not was out of the question. Luckily the miss kept her cell out, using her camera to check when passing by someone. She cursed under her breath when noting both Persnickety and Quiet came up with no image…she would have to cross them off. Damn it.

Walk was far, but the miss made it and knocked loudly. Mr. Grumpy slowly opened the door and peeked out to find the little red miss standing there giving off a weird look. But the look went away when Grumpy smiled and let the miss in. “So what’s so important?” Grumpy asked, wanting to get right to the subject. “Err…well it’s hard to explain…” Scary started. Both stood by the door, kind of awkward like. “Um…do you believe in Vampires? You know monsters, that sort of stuff?” Miss Scary asked, looking away from Mr. Grumpy. Mr. Grumpy sighed, “Really? You know I already don’t…Now come on stop pulling my leg!” Grumpy complained. “NO! I mean it…what if I told you a vampire was here…in DillyDale! And he already had a few under his spell of the curse! Here I came to warn you and want you to stay with me and a few others…please Mr. Grumpy…believe me…I want to keep you safe…” Miss Scary suddenly burst out, tears forming.

Grumpy gave her a concern look. “Sigh Scary you know I would love to believe you…but how can I be so sure…maybe you’re the vampire for all I know!” he spat out. “AM NOT SEE!” Miss Scary yelled as she pulled out her rosary necklace. Mr. Grumpy’s eyes went wide, seeing the miss was not playing around. “Well at least you’re not…that’s for sure…” Mr. Grumpy stated. “Yes, anyways I want you to come stay with me at my house; you’ll be safe there from Mr. Bump!” “Mr. Bump!? Okay now I know you’re lying…no way that mister is a freaking blood sucking vampire!” Grumpy laughed out. Miss Scary swore under her breath. Then it hit her. “Wait…you said you don’t believe in vampires or monsters, yet we’ve seen a lake monster, you said you saw that swamp monster that attack your boat, and we even saw aliens together! So how can you just deny all that? Plus Mr. Stubborn is a werewo- Wait a minute…MR. STUBBORN!” Miss Scary cheered and quickly yanked Mr. Grumpy out of his house, and dragged him right behind her.

“MISS SCARY WAIT WHERE ARE WE GOING!?” Grumpy yelled. “STUBBORN’S HOUSE!” she yelled back, still running and yanking Grumpy’s arm. “WAIT HE’S BEEN STAYING AT MISS BOSSY’S HOUSE! I DON’T KNOW WHY BUT HE IS!” Grumpy yelled. With that Scary yanked the other mister in a full U turn and ran to Miss Bossy’s house.

Both were out of breath when finally at the front steps. Scary banged on the door, hoping both were home. Slowly the door opened and Mr. Stubborn looked through. He glared at the two, but then lightened up after studying Miss Scary for a few seconds. “Yeah?” was all he could ask. Quickly Miss Scary barged in, still breathing hard. “Mr. Stubborn…you’re a werewolf right?” she asked. “Sigh…you know I HATE talking about this right?” he muttered out as he closed the door. Miss Bossy was looking over the room, taking in on what the hell was going on. “This is serious…you can sense if a vampire is near right? Cause we got a case of one right here in DillyDale!” she warned.

Stubborn gave a stern look before finally sighing. “Yes…I guess you mean Mr. Bump?” he asked. “SEE! TOLD YOU GRUMPY!” Miss Scary cheered, laughing when looking over to him. “What NO! How can that be, you guys are friends…plus you’d hang around him from time to time... I thought werewolves and vampires were natural enemies!” Grumpy argued. “Sigh…that’s what movies had made it seem, but actually we can get along…just as long as the vampire and werewolf only hunt other animals…we could both sense each other, but hell we only ate animal meat, so we looked past our creature ways…well until I began to sense others were becoming vampires…and well the smell of certain blood on a certain mr. man here…that’s when I knew he’d snapped, like other vampires I have heard about from my family’s past… So I decided to stay here and I guess be a watch dog for Miss Bossy…” Mr. Stubborn said, blushing lightly with the last few words.

“Anyways how the heck did you find out?” Miss Bossy asked, finally butting in. “Oh god it’s a long story…but it involved Curious, Whoops, and I finding Curious’s new puppy dead at his house and he caught us…” “OKAY STOP right there! I don’t want to hear about some dead puppy!” Miss Bossy said as she covered her ears and walked to the kitchen. Miss Scary rolled her eyes while Mr. Grumpy followed her. Mr. Stubborn kept a look to the blue mister as the kitchen door swung shut.

“So Mr. Stubborn, since we are both on the same path here I want you, Mr. Grumpy, and Miss Bossy to come live with me for the time being…my house is basically a safe house for the time being and Mr. Small and Mr. Nosy are also….also…Hey are you listening!?” Miss Scary asked seeing how the other mister walked slowly to the kitchen door, not really paying attention to the red miss at all. Miss Scary walked up to him, when suddenly she had a hand with sharp claws cover her mouth. Looking over the red miss saw the mister changing into his wolf form. “Shhh…” he whispered.

Quickly the dark purple mister bared his teeth, and leaped right into the kitchen. Miss Scary of coursed followed, but wished she didn’t once seeing what was taking place. There he stood, Mr. Grumpy, two sharp teeth bearing as his eyes glowed red, Miss Bossy in his arms, she had a blank stare to her, neck showing no signs of being bitten at least. Mr. Stubborn was on all fours growling as he saw what was going down. “Grrr…let her go…” he warned. Both were at a standstill, Stubborn knowing he couldn’t attack, worried Grumpy would sink his fangs into the miss he cared about, and Grumpy knew biting the miss would only lead to being ripped apart by a werewolf.

Suddenly Miss Scary leaped forward, splashing the canteen of holy water onto the mister she cared for so much…the mister she felt like she failed to keep safe. Mr. Grumpy screamed in pure pain as he let go of Miss Bossy, Stubborn catching her. Scary quickly pulled out her rosary and literally chased Mr. Grumpy with it. Both ran for the front door, but Miss Scary stopped once reaching it, watching Mr. Grumpy run down the steps, stopping in the middle of the street and turned around, smiling slyly at her. “Master Bump is going to HATE you guys even more after hearing about this…” he laughed out before he once again ran away.

The others could finally relax once seeing Miss Scary walk up to her front steps, along with two other certain characters. Scary ignored the others as they asked questions. She silently walked passed them all up to the wall. There she pulled out the red marker and sadly placed three Xs….one for Mr. Persnickety, one for Mr. Quiet….and finally one for Mr. Grumpy… With that she heard the others all gasp….suddenly the red miss fell to the floor and broke down…she felt like she had no one now…someone she was so hoping to save and work together with…was taken from her…

Next part and a sad one at that. Again I am really liking this AU now, and I will try my best to make a happy ending to this. Again feel free to leave suggestions (again I may or may not take them depending how this story will go but I’d appreciate all the help I could get thank you) Moving on more and more characters are becoming Bump’s victims…what will happen next?
