ok, I will admit the textures aren't done and this will be updated but I've been working on this for a little while recently. It's a totally remade Wing Gundam and this time it's going in halo. I tried to recreate the first episodes title screen.

Wing is 7007 tris, Buster Rifle is 804, Beam Saber is 258, and the shield is 218 with a 1024x1024 texture on the gundam, 256x512 on the shield, and 64x128 on the beam saber.

Looks very good, although the bump map seems to be coming through a little strong. It causes some pretty serious distortion in the model.

O wait, nvm about the double res part. I didnt have it increased when I submitted it >_<.

Actually It's a normal map. This is a slightly old render and all I have is a normal scan line renderer. Here is what it looks like with changed settings, a detail map, and double res textures. [link]

Take a look at [link] this is what I was referring to. The original render (up top) has a bump strength of 0.25 while the lower image has a strength of 1.00 the default.

It's supposed to be that strong. It's supposed to be severe scarring of the metal with parts chipped away. The knee is strongest because it's closer to the ground and moves more than any other.

Oh, ok I missed the point of the image. You just did such a good job with the model, the scratch there and the way it rendered detracted a bit from my perspective.
