I think next time I'll do the effects in purple. I realized after I was done that the buff I apply to her saber gives it a purple glow, even if the blade is orange. It's a really neat look.

A friendly suggestion though,
i think you should kind of smooth out the meeting point of her forehead and scalp. Kind a looks rigid.
Then again, never drawn one of those before

You're right in that the juncture there is a little weird. Unfortunately it's not drawn, it's a 3D object that's essentially a "hat" on a 3D model. And the damn thing never sits right at the forehead unless I use the headbands that go with it. I don't always want to. :/
