These are renders of the Takhasus class command cruiser for the Free Jaffa Nation in my Stargate AU. The design was created by .

The Goa'uld have always been about using Ha'taks (and later other designs) like jack of all trades' ships, combining a combat ship with a carrier and command ship all in one, just upscaling when the time needs it. The Jaffa instead opted for a more diverse fleet, with ships fillling different roles like we've seen with the Khalas class destroyer, Ko'Pesht class battleship and the Alnaaqil class carrier. And while the Alnaaqil is a great command ship, it is often used on larger fleets and tasked with the coordination of many squadrons of fighters and bombers, so it was decided there was a need of a dedicated command ship.

The Takhasus class command cruiser is the result, this smaller 450 meters lenght ship is heavily armed with four assault double-Staff Cannons of 5 times the size of those encountered in the Al'kesh and 4 standard weapon ports like the Ha'tak, but it is no meant to be a front-line combat vessel but, where it really shines the most is in the extensive sensors and communications suites placed all over in a never before seen open pyramid shape.
