I couldn't help myself... I had to make a male Dinobot after rewriting Limestone.

Name: Gneiss
Affiliation: Dinobots and Autobots
Gender: Male
Race: Cybertronian/Dinobot
Dinoform: Spinosaurus
Class: Military strategist
Personality: Doesn't like to talk very much and more stay in a corner to watch everyone. Despite his bright red body he is a master when sneaking up on his victims. Also he knows that his strength rival that of Grimlock but would never dare to challenge him as the true leader... unless Grimlock would become deactivated, then he would assume the role as leader for the Dinobots. He have a weak spot for Limestone and, unlike the fembot, is close friend with Swoop.

Backstory: Like the other Dinobots, Gneiss was constructed on Earth after Wheeljack and Rachet found some new bones of a dinosaur who looked similar to the t-rex but with a sail on its back. Seeing that this dinosaur could very well rival Grimlock they gave him a more advanced mind in hopes to defeat the t-rex and take his place as leader of the Dinobots. Once finished they sent him out to seek out Grimlock and defeat him. Not thinking that Limestone, the fembot, had already joined Grimlock's ranks and that she would be able to swoo the strong male into rather join the Dinobots than try to defeat them. Still, being smarter than them made him somewhat of an outcast in their ranks, watching the Dinobots being not so smart. At time however, they decided to use his help in defeating their opponets and when following his ideas they always came out in victory.
And half in his own mind, why he isn't just leaving them, is all because of his feelings for Limestone but also the friendship he started to develop with Swoop. They understood him even if they didn't think the same way. He also adopted the logo that Limestone made for the Dinobots as his own, making it final that he left the Autobots ranks, but if they ever called for his help he won't hessitate to join them again.
