Description The Valorians have had a long association with sauropods with Diplodocus carnegii and Apatosaurus louisae (Formerly Brontosaurus) being the most common mounts. The recent addition to the Rulon forces, in the form of their SuperCrocs, has forced the Valorians to look at using some of the truly giant sauropod species to counter this new threat. Giants like Diplodocus hallorum (Formerly Seismosaurus), Argentinosaurus, Sauroposeidon, and Supersaurus, are now being recruited. These sauropods have been nicknamed: The Minesweeper Sauropods, due to their role in the Valorian forces. When the Valorians need to patrol near lakes, rivers, and other waterways, a guard of two Minesweeper Sauropods lead the way. Fitted with large bulldozer blades, coupled with their shear size, these sauropods can locate, dig up, and safely shift any SuperCrocs away from the rest of the Valorian patrols before they can attack. The sauropods are also outfitted with some of the biggest guns the Valorians have. Twin-linked lascannons are mounted over the shoulders. Over the hips are mounted plasma cannons. The neck harness bears a small missile launcher modified from those used by the smaller Dipoldocus species. And the tail is sheathed in a flexible plate armour for close combat.
These Minesweeper Sauropods are also useful during peacetime. The dozer blade can be used to help clear land, and plow fields for the Valorians to farm and grow crops on.

So what type of combat role does it have?

They mainly act as guards for Valorian patrols. The large size, plus the dozer blade means they can detect and safely dig up any booby traps the Rulons may have planted. The large plasma and laser weapons provide heavy support firepower in battle, giving cover for the smaller dinosaurs as they charge forward.

Hm maybe there natural long necks could help radar scanning sensors put on their heads?

There is that too. (Possibly a 'peacetime' function)

It's in the planning stage at the moment. (I still have a couple of other works I need to do first)
So far I've been researching what the best group pose would be.

Grief could be normal sized if needed (smaller then others being 10, but could be caring a big gun.)
