Description
Both the Rulons and the Valorians have used pterosaurs in the past. Giants such as Pteranodon and Quetzalcoatlus assist in the battle for aerial supremacy. But now some of the smaller pterosaurs are being conscripted into service. The Rulons have recently introduced a Dimorphodon missile launcher. The concept is quite simple. Held in cages, the enhanced Dimorphodons are released into battle from on high by specially outfitted Pteranodon carriers, or from on the ground by ankylosaur 'tanks'. Once released, flocks of these pterosaurs fly towards their targets. Their small size, agility (Aided by thrusters), and vast numbers make it hard to shoot them all down. As they close in on their targets, a powerful, miniaturized rocket is fired from the back mounted launcher. Due to the rocket's backwash, each Dimorphodon is a one use weapon. This does not concern the Rulons however, as an intensive breeding program has ensured that they have an almost unlimited supply of pterosaurs on hand.Related content

imagine a whole flock of these flying at you. Hundreds of Dimorphodons, firing hundreds of missiles...

Ahhh, but there in lies my sinister plan...
Being small pterosaurs, they can fly in low to the ground, and weave in amongst the trees, negaitng the effectiveness if any anti-air guns...

I should mention, Dimorphodon had a body about 1m (3 foot) long, and a wingspan of about 1.45m (4.6 foot). About the size of a small hawk/falcon.

I'd say they would be. (At least that's how I imagine them to be)

yeah.
Perhaps (In real life) a flocks of them would follow large dinosaurs, eating the insects, small reptiles, bugs, mammals that they disturbed as they walked along.

Yeah, or even like small birds that follow and ride on elephants, rhinos, buffaloes etc, in the African savanna today. They eat insects and small animals that are disturbed, as well as picking nits/ticks/bugs/parasites off of the larger animals skin/fur.

Mutualism or commensalism?

hard to say.
If they were picking off parasites, then it would be Mutualism (One gets food while the other has parasites removed). if the pterosaurs were just eating insects disturbed on the ground by the dinosaurs then it would be commensalism (The pterosaurs get food while the dinosaurs get not positive or negative benefit)
