Flannery watched nervously as her sister, Sunnie sat on the potty. It was the young girl's first time using it, and Flannery was worried."Isn't it scary?" Flannery asked.
Sunnie shook her head.
"I'm not scared," she replied.
Flannery didn't look too convinced.
"You're braver than me," she told her sister.
Sunnie gave a small smile.
"You are brave, Flannery," she told her. "You'll see. There's nothing to be scared of."
Flannery looked down shyly, and Sunnie reached out, patting her sister's arm.
"The next time you need to go," Sunnie continued, "tell me, and I'll sit with you. We'll do it together."
Flannery gave a small nod.
"OK, Sunnie," she replied. "Thank you."
Sunnie smiled.
"You don't have to thank me," she said. "That's what sisters are for..."
