So.....just kind of a reference of where exactly Rover's prosthetics were....got a little carried away.The metal plate in his head doesn't show much. There's a patch of it that the skin hadn't grown over but it's mostly covered by his hair. Same with the scars. Although three small jags come down nearly to his left eyebrow. But they are not immediately noticeable.

He has quite an impressive talent of getting himself into trouble. He doesn't mind most of them, just good stories to tell. But the ones that would be traumatic he doesn't remember.

Oh, he's plenty aware of what they are, having spent an unfortunate week as a servant/pet of a duke on Rygus 7. But don't worry, he escaped with the help of his crew, none the worse for wear and managed to free the rest of the evil duke's slaves in the process.

Most of it is stuff he's proud of, scars with bragging rights, if you will. Except, of course, the incident with his head and arm which he honestly doesnt remember much of.
Actually, just one sand shark. Same bite, just upper and lower teeeth.

Yeah. Even though he makes light of it and honestly enjoys telling the crew 'how I lost my arm' stories it does bother him that he doesn't know. He knows it has something to do with why he's not with humans but very little else. Although he wasn't there and doesn't know the details even he knows more about what happened than Rover does.
A little stroll across the dessert...lookin' for lost treasure. Found out why it's still lost.

Well, the circular design on his right shoulder, which is actually a purplish scar, was kind of proof-of-bravery thing that he had to pass before he was allowed to trade with the people of Zealus 4. And it allows him to trade with quite a few races in that sector that wouldn't trust him without the mark.
The scars on both the front and back of his right leg attest to the revelation that walking on sand can be a lot more dangerous than one might think. Same with a stroll through a deceptively quiet jungle as the three puncture marks from the roots of a rather aggressive thorn on his left foot announce.
An entire week, before he was rescued by his crew, of being a Ktarian slave earned him a brand on the back of his leg.
And the rather awkwardly placed phaser burn is why he'll laugh and tell you that running away isn't always the best option.

Dude's pretty rough-and-tumble active, I never fully realized. I guess because most those scars & markings are covered by his clothes/hair, haha. It's funny for me to think about, b/c being as unobservant as myself, Jenny would never notice lol. I wonder if her clueless lack of inquiry would disappoint Rover at all. I mean she'd ask about his arm of course, but naturally she'd never see Rover without his usual clothes so she'd be totally ignorant of all the others. :-P

Yeah, he is. He always seems to be in some kind of trouble, but he doesnt really mind. It's usually like a big game to him.
Oh, he'd probably tell you all his stories anyway. You wouldnt have to ask.
