Description A cover for a Gilligan's Island fanfiction story I've been working on.

After Gilligan is shot by a strange machine that washed up in the lagoon he begins to shrink. If the Professor can't find a way to stop his reduction the first mate will shrink out of existence.

I just wanted to praise you on the fanfiction! I read it down to the last letter of the Epilogue! It was very good. The story was well developed, and its obviously had some thought poured into it. The characters were perfectly portrayed, and I could easily see this turning into a real episode. I had no idea what the German spies were from or who they were, but in the story it was all very understandable and well described. Mr. Howell's puns added a nice effect Long story put short, I loved it. C:

Wow!  Thank you so much!

I had heard somewhere that one of the ideas Sherwood Shwartz had for the nonexistant fourth season was an episode where Gilligan shrinks.  I don't know if this is true or rumor but it got me thinking of how great a story it could make and wishing there really was an episode of it.  It was such a fun idea I couldn't leave it alone.    I'm so glad you liked it.

The German spies are actually from another 60's tv show called Get Smart.  They are my absolute favorite bad guys.  I tried to write it so there was no need for people to know about GS, though.  Hope it worked.

Thank you again for taking the time to tell me what you think!

Yes, it did work. I had a full understanding of what was going on, but I've never seen Get Smart. And of course! Danke for writing it

Thanks again! There are some pretty incredible GI fanfics out there. An author I really enjoy is callensensi from fanfictiction.net. Especially her Monkey In The Middle story. She has written a whole bunch of GI stories and I think there's only one that I'm not completely in love with.

Oh, I forgot to mention the way Ginger quotes from an ironically-titled movie.

I read the story, and it I think of it as the Gilligan's Island episode that never was.  Each character is written perfectly.  Gilligan is naive, and his voice squeaks when he's scared.  Skipper has a tendency to shout at Gilligan, but is also concerned for his, and everyone else's safety.  Mr. Howell speaks in the language of money, even going as far as attempting to bribe an ape, and is highly reluctant to do manual labor.  Mrs. Howell is ditzy and also able to flatter Mr. Howell into continuing to search for Gilligan.  Ginger sounds slightly rude occasionally, but has enough of a conscience to feel guilty.  Professor uses big scientific word and phrases.  And of course, Mary Ann is sweet and level headed.  Even the villains were well written.  Were they Russian?  They sounded Russian.  When I read the story, I could actually hear the characters speaking.  In fact, at the beginning of the dream sequences, I was able to hear the "dream" music.  Simply put, it was the best GI fanfic I've ever read.

Wow! Thank you so very very much!! I'm so glad you like it. I love this show! I'm just sad that it was prematurely cancelled.

One of my favorite parts of Gilligan's Island is the relationship between Gilligan and the Skipper. The Skipper is all big and bluster but really he cares so much. And all the castaways are really a big diverse family.

Siegfried and Starker and KAOS are villians from another 60s show called Get Smart. (Which I totally reccomend) They're actually German. But they are a lot of fun.

You're very welcome.  Gilligan's Island is my favorite show, with Gilligan as my favorite character.

Ah, I see.  I may or may not have heard of Get Smart.

Oh, yes.  Gilligan is by far my favorite character too.  He is such a sweet little guy that is always looking out for his friends.  No matter how much he messes things up you just can't help but love him.

It's kind of a sitcom/spy show.  I did a full crossover between it and GI once:

I wrote it YEARS ago so it kind of needs a rewrite.  But you might like it anyway
