Description
When Flyspur has a negative reaction to an alien vaccine he finds himself dealing with more than an uncomfortable rash. With his DNA in temporary flux one touch from Rover begins a chain reaction that turns the little Jssfloon into a true red-blooded, two-armed human. Yeah. He's pretty out of sorts. He's lost two arms and a tail in the process of changing and he's totally wierded out.

Yeah. I was going to try to, but I didn't have a camera on me most of the times I saw him. He was off at a different part of camp than I was. I did draw a doodle of Flyspur in his natural state to show him, because he sounded interested, but then didn't actually get a chance to show him.

Does he lose balance due to losing his tail? Does he constantly try to move his second pair of arms to no avail?

Yes on both. And his feet are are shaped so differently, so much smaller, that he ends up tripping a lot. And his legs are longer compared to his body, all this completely throws of his balance. He also tries to carry too many things, he's so used to having those extra arms. He's a complete klutz as a human.

hehe, interesting story idea, I look forward to it as well (assuming it isn't already out and I just haven't gotten around to it cuz been gone X(..). I'm not sure how I feel about Flyspur as human though...I guess I feel sorry for him. Not just for the shock, but must feel kinda...DOWNGRADE, to suddenly lack a pair of arms and a tail, etc.
Being human can be a bummer sometimes, haha.

Yes, that's about how Flyspur feels. Downgraded. Not that he has anything against humans, obviously. But he likes being himself. Rover, on the other hand is ecstatic to have another human around. Especially when it's his best pal.

Oh my gosh, those ears and sideburns are adorable. XD I too like to play around with stranger story ideas for my characters and personally I think this one looks really good! It would really play off Rover's longing to meet other humans, yes. And I love how you dressed them up together there - very cute. ^^

This is a pretty strange plotline. But perhaps, not too strange when you consider that it's sci fi. I really REALLY want to write this one. But I do have to finish Outlawed too.
Yeah, to Rover this is the best possible thing that could happen. He's found another human and it IS his best friend. What could be better?? Flyspur doesn't feel quite the same way.

Flyspur: How am I supposed to get anything done with only two hands? I-I can't even work with my feet. These toes are useless. I have the Jlosfski order to fill out, and you know there's at least a hundred pages of that. I need to catagorize the cargo from this planet and deal with the flora allowance codes of the Orius sector we'll be flying through in a bit. *moves a hand to his forehead in frustration but that only reminds him that his fur ridge is gone* And one heart. How--how do you manage that with all this extra adrenaline?
