Description
Captain: How's THAT for a timely rescue, eh Chuck?Darwin: C-Captain... WATCH OUT FOR THAT--
Aaaaand Charles never gets the chance to finish that sentence.
This is actually an illustration for a story I'm working on. Whether it will ever be finnished....eh... But this scene stuck out in my head as needing to be an illustration.

Captain: Yes, he is~ *Proudly grins, gives the scientist a slap on the back that nearly knocks him over* Charles, meet Amelia Meriwether, Amy, this is Charles Darwin. Say hello, Chuck *Pushes him forward*

If George of the Jungle has trouble with trees it's only fair that non residents would face similar tribulations.

Thank you! I struggle with perspective so it's nice to hear that it turned out alright.

Yaknow, only an hour before I saw this pic I had just finished rewatching George of the Jungle. Fate is both spooky and epic! This should be in a Pirates sequel. Genius, my friend!

Then I was the first! Yay!
My family owns a few George of the Jungle video tapes of the old cartoons, so I watched them when I was little. I thought it was pretty funny. My mom and I still talk about when George kept calling Ursula 'Ingrid', and when she tried to correct him, he responded with "Ursula to you too, Ingrid!" We love that part.

I've seen the live action movie, too. That one was pretty funny. But I have to say, from what I remember, the old cartoons were pretty good, too.

It's been more or less confirmed that they won't because it didn't make enough money in the US.

chill13 In reply to Mort08 [2013-09-16 01:32:51 +0000 UTC]
Aw. I think they would make more on the second one than the first one. Pirates is one of those movies where the commercials are kind of confusing. And a lot of people don't go because they really don't know what kind of movie it's going to be. That's what happened to me and my friends. But it was such a good movie that those who DID see it and those who rented it loved it and showed it to friends who also love it. I can say that at least 9 people I know who didn't see the first movie in theaters now like it enough that they WOULD go see a sequel.
It's kind of like Princess Bride. It only got a following AFTER it was out of theaters. But a sequel would boost it.

I used Copic markers. They're an alcohol based marker. I love them even though they're a little spendy.
